Da Burbs is a free app that aggregates local community events across Chicagoland suburbs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

• Push notification token — If you opt in to notifications, your device's Expo push token is stored so we can send you event alerts and the Friday weekend digest. This token is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identifier.
• Community preferences — The suburbs you select are stored alongside your push token so we can send you relevant local events. This information is not sold or shared.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How We Use Your Information

Your push token and community preferences are used solely to deliver push notifications you have opted into. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third parties.

Data Retention

Your push token and preferences remain stored until you disable notifications within the app, at which point they are no longer used to send you messages.

Children's Privacy

Da Burbs is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
